How a Random Instagram Ad Changed My Mindset
One evening, I was casually scrolling through reels on Instagram. Like most people, I wasn’t really looking for anything serious. Suddenly, I saw an ad about digital marketing. At first, I ignored it. After all, it was just another promoted post.
However, the Instagram algorithm kept showing me similar ads. Over and over again, the topic of digital marketing kept reappearing. Gradually, it caught my attention. I began to feel curious. What is digital marketing, and why is everyone talking about it?
As a result, I started doing my own research. I watched videos, read short blogs, and browsed course platforms. That’s when I realised this could be something worth exploring.
The Moment I Made a Choice
By August, I decided to take a serious step forward. I spoke to my parents about joining an online digital marketing course. Thankfully, they supported me without hesitation. That conversation turned out to be a major turning point for me.
Since then, I’ve been consistent. In fact, I haven’t missed a single class from day one. That discipline became the foundation of my journey.
How the Turning Point Transformed Me
Before this, I didn’t have a fixed direction. I had interests, but I lacked clarity. However, once I began learning digital marketing, everything started to make sense.
For example, I now understand how websites are made, how SEO works, and how content ranks on Google. Moreover, I enjoy writing blogs, experimenting with tools, and sharing what I learn.
Most importantly, this turning point gave me a skill I can keep growing with.
This Turning Point Gave Me Confidence
Consistency builds confidence. That’s exactly what happened to me.
Every day I showed up to class, took notes, practiced on my own, and tried to apply what I learned. Eventually, I realised I wasn’t just taking a course—I was becoming someone who creates, shares, and grows online.
Now, working on my website EkamZone feels natural. Meanwhile, I’ve also learned how to present my ideas more clearly and help others through content.
Why This Turning Point Matters So Much
We often expect life to change with big, dramatic events. But sometimes, it’s a small action—a tap, a click, or a moment of curiosity—that shifts everything.
For me, it was an ad I almost ignored. But choosing to follow that curiosity changed my mindset, habits, and even my goals.
Therefore, I believe that every decision matters, even the small ones.
